Trials are meant to test us to the bone. It’s only when we’re tested, we see what we’re made of. Are we truly made of steel? Or do we look like steel?

We may hate facing challenges, but we need to accept that pain is part of the process.

The learning process isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. It hurts. You’ll get rejected several times. You’ll be criticized and teased. But these, believe it or not, shape you.

‘You’ are the challenges you overcome. Everything you overcome changes you for the better. We are nothing without the trials that make us.

Setbacks are common for everyone. Even me.

We need to develop thick skin if we are going to be in this world. No matter how many bullets fly across, you need to stitch up your wounds and keep moving.

If we keep being strained or restricted by our external environment, we are letting our challenges get the better of us. Our challenges change us for the better, only if we become persistent enough to overcome them.

We need to be able to adapt to any situation to be victorious. There may be times where you don’t ‘feel’ like writing or times where the stress of life is getting to you. Those are challenges we all face.

Accept that every life has its troubles, even the extraordinary ones.

Set yourself apart from everyone else by conquering your challenges. By doing so, you will become patient and persistent. You are shaping yourself, your habits and behaviours- subconsciously.

The next time you face anything, know that when you overcome it (and you will), you will be stronger. Don’t let trials put you off- when viewed the right way and conquered, it will positively impact your life.

Our adversity forms us, but not always for the worst. We learn different lessons. We adapt to unique environments. Our brain adopts a new outlook and mentality according to what we face.

Don’t be disheartened. Challenges exist. They are there in every life. There’s only one option now- win, and win the right way.
