We all love apples. They’re healthy. They’re nutritious. And they’re supposed to keep the doctor away(we’ve all said that one).

But when it comes to colour, we have a lot of different opinions. Red apples are delicious and sweet, while green apples have sour, yet crispier and thicker skin. And there are yellow apples, which are also fantastic, but I won’t be talking about those in this article.

There is an ongoing debate on which of these apples have a greater nutritional benefit- and many people think that green apples are healthier than red apples.

Here’s the thing- there’s barely any difference.

You heard that right.

Both the varieties of apples share almost the same amount of calories, with red apples giving an extra calorie over green apples. Red apples are loaded with antioxidants and are great for heart, bowel and liver health. Green apples, on the other hand, contain slightly more fibre, vitamins and iron than the red ones.

All in all, they’re both great in different ways and can benefit you in any diet or plan you’re following. They’re both great on their own, but you can add a bit more colour to them with this recipe.

Have a great day, and enjoy your apples!

That sounded way better in my head. Oops. Yeah, have an awesome day!
